SmartMusic® is downloadable software sold as an annual subscription of only $40 (approximately ¥4,000).

Using SmartMusic®, students will not only have access to the music in their books and from class, but they will also have access to hundreds of solos and other fun songs to play.

Individual parts as well as accompaniment are included so students can hear their own part or how the entire piece sounds when performed by all the instruments.

SmartMusic® provides a tuner, a metronome, and fingering charts for each note.

Because music is often best learned at a tempo slower than a song’s normal pace, SmartMusic® allows students to adjust the tempo of their music and repeat sections as often as needed.

Students are able to play their assessments as many times as needed before submitting their best recording.

This allows students to show their teacher (and you) that they’ve completed their assignments. Recorded performances by the students are then submitted to the band teacher for review right from SmartMusic®.SmartMusic® is a lot like Guitar Hero® or Rock Band®, except now students are making real music with real instruments!.Their “score” shows how many of the notes they played correctly (green notes) and how many had pitch or rhythm problems (red notes).
